Zomg official app from wordpress for me sweet sweet nexus one.

Got my new Nexus One a few days back. Its freaking nice.

So glad I can get rid of my HTC Touch Pro. It was good and all, with the sliding keyboard, but then again it ran on windows…and was slow…and couldn’t really do much. The Nexus One is a great phone. It runs really smooth and itself is also nice and smooth. Pretty awesome thing about it, is that I got to engrave my name into it (see image).

I love pretty much everything about the phone. The UI is very pretty and the I love the interactive wallpapers.  The Market has some nice stuff, but a lot of the apps arn’t polished and as good as those on the iPhone. Android is allow smartphones to do what they should be doing.

Going to go through the Market properly and download some nice stuff. And I’ll probably review some stuff there. At the moment I’m really fond of Radient by Hexage. It’s like space invaders, but possibly better.

Phone calls are meant to be much clearer because of the phone having microphones, but I’ve yet to make a call with it, as my SIM card is dead. Note: Don’t put it in your wallet with all your coins.

Edit: I got my SIM card. The calls are very clear. I had the water tap running with my face next to it and my friend couldn’t hear it.

The disappointing thing about getting this phone, was the experience I’ve had with the customer support at Google (none). It was confusing when I was banned, for one of many reasons. I couldn’t find any number to call or a email. I was banned because they needed to verify who I was. So I had to scan a bank statement and my passport. I was assuming I was just buying things online, did it really matter that if I was the person I claimed I was? Apparently it had to do with the account which is used to buy the phone, because It is used in googles eBay-like thing. It’s kinda weird, why can’t it just be like any other normal way of ordering something online?

Anyway, I got unbanned and ordered my phone. It’s just a shame that the service is bad. They really need a team of people to be answering questions instead of the really confusing internet pages.

Oh the little pouch is really nice. Look at the android on it. BAWWWW.

Did I mention the thing runs really smooth. Pays off to have a fast processor

Why do we celebrate new years?

It doesn’t really have much significance, apart from people getting wasted and because it marks the beginning of the calender.

Since time is relative, I should be able to celebrate new years everyday, since everyday is  1 year since the same day….1 year ago. In fact 2010 is a new millennia relative to the year 1010. Dates are just arbitrary numbers marking the time relative to another.

• Drinking too much (alcohol and softdrinks).
  Side note, I still believe Beer tastes bad from a can (that’s great because most beer is sold in 1 pint cans in England)
• WoWing too much. Swapping my main to my paladin and failing RL.
• Sleeping really late. Subsequently missing lectures when I can’t wake up in the morning.

Wanted to get a second hand MGS2 for PS2 at a game store. It was PAL…I can’t run it on my PS2. FML
